Arri Alexa SXT

The ALEXA SXT Plus is the most versatile and flexible of the ALEXA SXT cameras, a true all-rounder. With an integrated wireless radio for camera and lens remote control, tilt/roll sensors, electronic horizon and additional connectors for camera and lens control, signal output and accessory power, the ALEXA SXT Plus offers the best value and widest range of uses.

Dactylcam

Flying cameras on cables isnʼt new but Whites' Dactylcam Pro makes cable-cam shots extremely fast to set up and affordable at the same time.  The Dactylcam Pro raises the bar from hobby-shop level, featuring motor-integrated sleds with advanced electronics and precision control using the Pulse wireless controller. The Dactylcam Pro also doesnʼt require large power hungry winches or multiple personnel.

This point-to-point system has been designed to be set up as quickly as a standard head and crane package, and with some rigging ingenuity your camera can be wherever you need it to be.  In combination with the light-weight, gyro-stabilized Shotover G1, the Dactylcam Pro will deliver entirely new shot possibilities in a safe, reliable and timely manner.

EXO Camera Car

The EXO Camera Car is a custom-built electric vehicle. From the ground up this vehicle was designed with the film maker in mind. Camera mounts can be placed just about anywhere and all the surfaces are cheese plated for adapting whatever is required.

The EXO features four-wheel independent suspension and adjustable air ride. The EXO can be run with a remote head on a short jib arm or car pole. The EXO is delivered in a custom-trailer outfitted with an array of complementary pipe, grip fittings and camera mounts.

Arri SkyPanel S30-C

SkyPanel is a compact, ultra-bright and high-quality LED soft light that sets a new standard for the industry. With a design focused on form, color, beam field and output, SkyPanel represents the culmination of more than a decade of research and development of LED technology at ARRI.

Phantom Flex4K

Designed for the cinematographer, the Phantom Flex4K is a high-speed camera providing exceptional flexibility with its frame rate capabilities and by adapting to different shooting styles. The super-35mm 4K sensor provides sharp, detailed images with extremely low noise and high dynamic range. The Flex4K is capable of shooting from 15 frames-per-second (fps) up to 1,000 fps at 4K, and almost 2,000 fps at 2K/1080p.

The camera lets you customize the workflow that makes sense for your production. The Cine raw format ensures the fastest high-speed capture on set and maximum quality and versatility for post-production. Alternatively, choose Apple ProRes 422 HQ to improve download time, hard drive space and simplify the workflow, while maintaining excellent image quality. 

Hawk V-Lite Anamorphic Lenses

The Hawk V‑Lite lenses have become the industry standard for anamorphic glass. Even though they are the smallest ‘scope lenses on the market today, they do not sacrifice image quality while still being exceedingly robust with extremely solid mechanics. Extremely small and extremely high image quality, the new range of Hawk® V-Lite Anamorphics are designed from scratch and are unique in the sum of their features.

Technocrane 22

The Technocrane 22 is a lightweight option with the same reach as the Supertechno 22 when portability is a necessity. Smooth and silent, it's also an excellent alternative to a jib arm with the advantage of telescopic travel (15ʼ6”).

The crane can also be used on a standard dolly with a simple Mitchell adapter.

Note: Max camera weight is 35lbs with the use of the integrated lightweight remote head

BOLT High-Speed Cinebot

The Whites BOLT delivers stunning new possibilities to high speed cinematography. The BOLT accelerates to its maximum velocity almost instantly, so even 1000 fps + shots come alive with motion.

The BOLT is driven by the award winning Flair software with absolute precision and the ability to drive multiple motion control units, triggering devices, DMX lighting, etc. The BOLT can be used in studio or on location with a customized base, delivering the creative tools where you need to be.

Arri SkyPanel

The new ARRI SkyPanel S60-C is an exceptionally versatile LED soft light – compact, fully tuneable and delivering light of unsurpassed power and quality. Because different application areas call for different lighting needs, SkyPanel has been designed as a series of fixtures. 

SkyPanel ‘C’ (Color) versions have the ability to adjust the correlated color temperature anywhere between 2,800 K and 10,000 K, with excellent color rendition over the entire range. Full plus and minus green correction can be achieved with the simple turn of a knob, and in addition to CCT control, vivid color selection and saturation adjustment is also possible.

Steadicar

New to Whites inventory of state-of-the-art specialty equipment, the Steadicar is now available exclusively at all Whites locations across Canada. The Steadicar is an electric camera car which can achieve speeds of 70km/h. Its hydraulic arm has a weight capacity of 330lbs and can be mounted for cameras or even seat a Steadicam operator.

Briese Lighting

Whites is pleased to offer the Briese Focus 77, 140 and 220 lights for rent.

The patented Briese focus system features a light source situated on a moveable axis in the center of the reflector. The lamp head, focusing tube (spacer) and light source form a straight line. By focusing this unit, the beam angle and the spread of the light can be changed sequentially.

When the lamp is extended (spot position), there is a narrower beam angle with a highly intense, strongly defined illumination. If the lamp head is retracted (flood position), there is a wider beam angle which creates a diffused, very evenly spread illumination. There is an infinite range of adjustability between these two positions, whereby the luminance remains consistent, achieving a light efficiency far beyond what can be reached by conventional lighting engineering.
